IN-OFFICE CARE

At SmartStart Pediatrics we are committed on providing quality and personalized care. Our services include, but are not limited to:

  • Newborn Care

  • Yearly Check-up

  • Adolescent Care

  • Sick appointments

  • Sports Physicals

  • Care of the child with special needs

  • Pre-operative evaluations

  • Immunizations

  • Chronic illness

  • Complimentary Pre-natal visits (meet the doctor)

We DO NOT take Walk-in appointments but always do out best to accommodate same-day appointments.

AFTER-HOURS CARE

If you are an established patient and need to speak with the doctor after office-hours or during the weekend, you can text the office number. A provider will contact you as soon as possible.

For urgent matters, we advise on taking your child to the nearest emergency department or call 911.

HAVING A BABY?

Congratulations! We are always thrilled to welcome little ones into our practice. We know that choosing a pediatrician is an important decision and you want to ensure a good fit for your family.

Schedule Meet-and-greet appointment with the doctor and let us help you in your journey.

We are currently seeing Newborn babies at the following hospitals:

  • University Medical Center

  • Providence at Transmountain

  • Providence Memorial

  • Las Palmas

On admission to the hospital, let the nursing staff know that Dr. Hernandez/Dr. Herrera will be your baby’s pediatrician so they can see you after your baby is born.
